What Parents Should Know About Assistive Technology Laws and Legislation
There are four major Federal laws that discuss access to and funding of Assistive Technology and rights of the Disabled We briefly will review each one.
Accessibility Tools
Assistive Technology (AT) for students and adults includes devices software and apps that able to assist kids, students and adults with learning disability dyslexia and ADHD with their challenges. Those technologies will allow them to use their strengths to remediate their challenges in reading writing note-taking time management and organization. We realize that there are many tools and apps today LDRFA only includes those that we believe provide the most assistance and are more robust.

Digital Books/Articles: how to find digital books textbooks and articles, and tools that allow you to take notes and make comments digitally
Speech to Text: tools that will transcribe what you say
Organization and Study Tools: Tools that will help for example diagram for notes or long handout writing.
Note-taking: tools devices that will assist you in taking notes
Visual tracking solution: font size background colors and color layer.
